Kane's is Open Plus 2 More Residential Buildings in the Works at Essex Landing in Saugus
The new location of Kane's Donuts is now open in the Essex Landing development along Route 1 in Saugus and it was quite busy on the Sunday morning we dropped by to check on the status of construction at the project. While we certainly aren't a food blog, we can recommend the chocolate coconut donut! Back on topic, the next two residential buildings within the 2.6-acre site are under construction. One building is in the framing stage with the second is nearly completion. Developer Michael Barsamian tells BLDUP he expects the next residential building to be open in July of this year. Both buildings will feature all 1 bedroom apartments.
When complete Essex Landing will include..
- 256 one-bedroom apartments
- 150 room boutique hotel
- 100,000 square feet of retail space
- 3 premier restaurant spaces (between 5,000 & 8,000 sq ft)
- One giant orang dinosaur
