Land Use Application Filed for 29 Wythe Avenue

False Alarm Ltd has now filed a Land Use Application for 29 Wythe Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The applicant is requesting Zoning Special Permits in order to facilitate a commercial and manufacturing development. This would be constructed on a former brownfield site, which measures 137,000 square feet. The lot was previously occupied by the Dutch Masters Paint & Varnish Co. building until the structure was demolished.

The new, 7-story development, would total approximately 215,000 square feet. This would reportedly include 126,002 sqft of office space, 23,763 sqft of light manufacturing space, and 12,668 sqft of ground-floor retail space. It would additionally offer over 10,000 square feet specifically for music and television production, as well as 62 accessory parking spaces. The project is currently in the filing stages and is waiting for public review.
