Landmark Mall Redevelopment Wins Approval
The Alexandria City Council has approved the preliminary plans for the redevelopment of the Landmark Mall site to feature over 5+ square feet of development. The project would include a new 1M square foot Inova Health System Hospital, up to 2,500 residential units, 285,000 square feet of retail, commercial, and entertainment offerings, and around 210,000 square feet of office space. Construction at Landmark could begin as soon as 2023, with the first buildings delivered in 2025.
