Large Multifamily Development Tops Out in Jersey City
General contractor, , has shared progress photos of a 6-story, residential project, going up at 49 Fisk Street in Jersey City's West Side area.
The building recently topped out, and windows are currently being fitted around the structure prior to the installation of facade materials. The building consists of a cast-in-place (CIP) concrete podium, Com-Slab metal bracing, and wood framing, covered by a brick exterior.
Developed by , the development is set to contain luxury apartment units, offered in studio, one, and two-bedroom configurations.
Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, a working lounge, a game room, a speakeasy bar and lounge, a roof deck, and a fully landscaped courtyard. Plans also call for an enclosed, car parking garage, fitted with charging stations for electric vehicles.
Designed by , 49 Fisk Street now stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is expected to wrap up by December of 2023, but Halpern also states that it has the ability to expand the development in the future, with a second phase that could add up to 150 units if needed.
