Large Residential Project Proposed in Mott Haven
Permits have just been filed for a 13-story, residential development at 120 East 144th Street in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx. Developed by , the building would contain residential units. Plans also call for an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles. Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall, with the residential portion totaling square feet. The full building will amount to a fair bit larger when you take the parking garage into account. The development would be constructed on a square foot lot, bound at the head of the block by Walton Avenue, East 144th Street, and Gerard Avenue. An existing 2-story warehouse building would have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
