Letter of Intent Filed for New Development of Alexandra Hotel
JB Ventures, LLC, and TCR Development have filed a letter of intent with the City of Boston for the long-abandoned Alexandra Hotel. The property located at the corner of Washington Street and Massachusetts Avenue, owned by The Church of Scientology has sat vacant for years. Now the developers plan a full restoration of the historic building along with a new ten-story hotel to be built in the adjacent vacant lot. The new building would include around 150 guestrooms and ground floor restaurant space.
