Long-Delayed New Haven Apartment Project Remains Up In The Air
The approved development at 842-848 Chapel Street in New Haven still faces an uncertain future. The project, like many others, faced delays because of COVID-19, and coupled with rising costs, it is now unclear whether the building will get built. The plans were approved in 2018 and call for 120 units, from studios to two bedrooms, street-level retail, and 55 parking spaces.
The developer, Northside Development Corporation in New Haven is currently evaluating between selling or finding a path forward for the project.
