Lurin Acquires St. Petersburg Apartment Community
The Dallas-based real estate firm has purchased Milo Bayside for $47,774,000. Milo Bayside is the second Tampa Bay area apartment community recently acquired by Lurin, The Delmar in Tampa was purchased by Lurin in June 2022. Lurin also owns Element on Third in St. Petersburg, which was acquired in October 2022. Located in northeast St. Petersburg’s Gateway district, Milo Bayside features 433 one and two-bedroom apartment units. The one-bedroom apartments measure 750-square feet, and the two-bedroom units measure 850-square feet. Amenities in the pet-friendly community include a resident lounge, two pools, a dog park, playground, fitness center, grilling area and laundry center. Built in 1973, Milo Bayside is a few miles north of downtown St. Petersburg and Tropicana Field and a short drive from the Gulf beaches. Within Gateway, residents have easy access to retailers including, HomeGoods, Publix Super Market, PetSmart and Target.
