Lynbrook Multifamily Offloaded for $42.85M
A 4-story, multifamily residential development, located at 5 Freer Street in Lynbrook, NY (Long Island), has just been sold for $42.85 million. Known as "The Cornerstone at Yorkshire", it was acquired by The Birch Group from the project's developer, Terwilliger & Bartone Properties, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield.
Recently completed in February of 2022, the Tudor-style structure contains rental apartments, offered in studio, one, and two-bedroom configurations.
The building also offers a number of tenant amenities. These include a lobby and lounge area, a clubroom with a pool table and a fireplace, an outdoor courtyard, and an indoor fitness center with an outdoor yoga area.
It also has an enclosed, vehicle parking garage on the ground floor, which features a select amount of electric charging spaces.
Designed by , The Cornerstone at Yorkshire totals square feet. The development is transit-oriented and sits less than a mile from the Lynbrook LIRR station. It is also positioned within walking distance of the village's lively downtown shopping area.
