Major Residential Tower Approved for Inwood
A large residential tower has just been approved by the NYC Department of Buildings for the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan. Located at 3875 Ninth Avenue, it will contain 620 residential units, including many in the affordable housing category. The 544,000 square foot building is being developed by Maddd Equities and was designed by Aufgang Architects.
The structure will stand 30-stories tall at a height of 295 ft. In addition to residential units, there will be 62,000 sqft of retail space and 122 parking spaces. Joy Construction will be the general contractor for the project. Currently, the site is just a vacant lot, but with this approval, construction is set to begin soon.
