Manhattan Hotel Site Ready for Excavation
A vacant piece of land at 112 Liberty Street in the Financial district looks set for excavation. The 6,199 sqft. lot being developed by Hidrock Realty will soon become a 20-story hotel. The building will amass 111,722 sqft. and contain 230 rooms.
The hotel will be a sleek, modern-style tower, designed by Stonehill & Taylor. General contractors for the project will include JAM Consultants and Urban Atelier Group. Currently, there is no heavy equipment on-site, but construction netting, jersey barriers, and project information tacked to the fence indicate that excavation might be around the corner.
