Manhattan Office Tower Nearly Complete
A new 47-story office tower at 425 Park Avenue in East Midtown is closing in on completion. The strikingly modern tower is being developed by L&L Holding Company and Tokyu Land Corporation. At this point, it nearly has its entire facade installed, with the exception of the multi-floor lobby.
425 Park Avenue was designed by Foster + Partners and stands 897 feet tall. The building totals close to 670,000 square feet, with most of that dedicated to office space. Construction is expected to cost $750 million when all is said and done, and work is expected to complete later this year.
