Marlborough City Council Reviews 188-unit Development
Marlborough City Council has begun reviewing a proposal to develop 26 acres off Boston Post Road. The site, formerly home to McGee Farm, sits in a floodplain and wetlands protection district. 70% of the site - more than 20 acres - will be preserved as open space.
The proposed development will create 188 residential units, with approximately 70% reserved for single bedroom to limit the impact on the city's school district. The project has already received approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals and Conservation Commission, and now awaits a special permit from the City Council to move forward.
