Midtown High-Rise Now in Public Review
A large development proposal for 495 Eleventh Avenue in Midtown has now entered public review. The high-rise, developed by Radson Development, would contain 581,601 sqft for affordable housing, commercial office space, retail, a restaurant, a hotel, and an NYPD vehicle storage facility. In order to facilitate the project, the Economic Development Corporation for NYC (EDCNYC) applied for a zoning text amendment, zoning map amendment, and site selection and acquisition. The proposal will now be subject to a public hearing, and post-hearing follow-up before it can move to a City Planning Commission vote.
