Midtown Office Building Nearly Complete
Facade work is nearly complete for 1245 Broadway in Midtown, Manhattan. The 23-story building is being developed by GDSNY and will create nearly 200,000 square feet of office space. Skidmore Owings & Merrill designed the tower, which stands fully topped out at 318 feet tall.
The general contractor for the project has been Triton Construction, which still needs to complete a good amount of interior work, as well as the ground floor lobby. Construction was expected to wrap up in 2020, however, work was postponed due to the pandemic, and is now expected to finish sometime in late 2021 or early 2022.
