MIT Planning 550 Bed Graduate Housing Project
MIT has announced plans to expand on-campus graduate housing with the expected construction of a 550-bed building on the site of the West Lot parking area and Building W89 on Vassar Street. The project is expected to kick off in 2021–22. Just a few blocks down Vassar Street MIT is currently building a 450-bed undergraduate dorm which is expected to open in Fall 2020.
