MIT Prepping Site 44 for Demo: Future Home of the College of Computing
MIT is preparing to demo the existing building on site 44 along Vassar Street to make way for the Stephen A. Schwarzman College of Computing. The new building, currently in the design phase with SOM will serve as a hub for research and innovation in computer science, AI, data science, and related fields and should hold around 50 faculty members. Completion of the new college headquarters is slated for 2023.
