Mixed-Use Development Proposed to Replace Westshore Ramada Inn
The Ramada Inn in Tampa’s Westshore district could make way for a new mixed-used development. Dallas-based Trammell Crow has filed a rezoning application with the City of Tampa. Alexan Westshore, a proposed mixed-use property, would rise on the site. Alexan, a six-story building, would offer 388 residential units and 9,355 square feet of retail space along with a pool and amenity courtyard. A seven-story parking garage would provide 693 parking spaces. A rezoning application has been filed with the City of Tampa. A public hearing is tentatively scheduled for October 6, 2022. The Ramada Inn would be demolished.
