3285 Fulton Street Update 04/18/22

Modifications Made for 3285 Fulton Street

Developer,  and the are currently seeking zoning permits for 3285 Fulton Street; a mixed-use project, proposed in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. The application was filed months back with the NYC Department of Planning, and it requests a rezoning of the project site from an R5/C2-3 to an R7A/C2-4/EC-6 district. Since our previous update, the City Council was able to review the application, however, in doing so, they determined that modifications would be necessary. As a result, it was sent back to the City Planning Commission (CPC), which reviewed the City Council's modifications and ultimately ok'd the changes. From here on out, the next step is for the application to be sent forward again to the City Council. After that occurs, it will be transferred to the NYC Mayor's Office, where the project will either receive the green light or be vetoed altogether.

If approved, the 7-story structure would contain approximately square feet of senior housing. This would be divided up into AIRS (Affordable Independent Residences for Seniors) units. The building will also have 2,750 square feet set aside for a new daycare facility on the ground floor.
