MRP Secures $64M in Financing for 2442 MLK Project

MRP Realty has secured financing for the affordable housing development at 2442 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE. The financing consists of $27M in tax-exempt bond financing and $20.6M in Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the DCHFA along with $16.5M from the Department of Housing and Community Development's Housing Production Trust Fund. The upcoming 112-unit affordable housing development to be built on vacant land owned by the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
