Multi-Generational Community Development Planned for Washington Park
A zoning application has been submitted for a residential development in Washington Park for a multi-generational housing project that will serve grandparents raising dependents, as well as independent seniors and college students experiencing homelessness. The new building will rise 78 feet and include 71 apartments, ranging from studios to three bedroom layouts. Plans include a plaza with a playground, fitness and community rooms, and social services for children and seniors.
