With Massachusetts' first air rights project in 30+ years now rapidly taking shape at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue & Boylston Street and demo underway for the long-planned redevelopment of 350 Boylston Street, Back Bay’s commercial development pipeline is robust. Plans were also recently approved for Skanska’s office tower at 380 Stuart Street and a new boutique office building is rising on Newbury Street. After years of uncertainty caused by the pandemic, the resilience of this historic neighborhood is clear.  Along with these large commercial projects, there are several landmark residential developments making an impact on this neighborhood. The new apartment tower at 212 Stuart Street is nearly complete and will feature roughly 130 modern residences while Raffles Boston Back Bay Hotel & Residences is also rapidly progressing and will include 146 luxury homes.
