New Pipefitters Association headquarters approved in Dorchester
The Pipefitters Association Local Union 537’s new 70,000-square-foot headquarters in Dorchester was approved at today’s Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) Board Meeting. Construction of the building is anticipated to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2017, with completion expected by the 3rd quarter of 2018. The building will now go before the City of Boston's Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) for review; ZBA approval will be required in order for the building to proceed with construction.
