New Plans Presented for Vacant Brookland Development Site
After years of delays, updated plans are now back on the boards for the development of a vacant 60,000-square-foot site along Monroe Street near the Brookland Metro Station. Horning and Menkiti Group are now proposing a 75-foot tall, 230-unit residential unit building on the site. According to initial filings, 49 of the units will be 2 & 3 bedrooms and the building would include 58 vehicle parking spaces.
