New Renderings and Details Revealed for Growing Home Urban Farm Expansion
Growing Home has revealed new details and renderings for its $25 million urban farm expansion that will support a growing demand for its farming operations and workforce development programs that serve the West Englewood community. Plans include a new 2-story, 30,850 square foot facility on the west end of the site that will house a new organic produce processing facility, a community computer lab, workforce development classrooms, a community kitchen, hydroponics lab and a cafe. 62,000 square feet of community accessible outdoor farming space will also surround the facility.
