Burnham Place at Union Station Update 06/16/22

New Renderings Revealed for Gigantic Redevelopment at Burnham Place at Union Station

New renderings have been released for the gigantic redevelopment adjacent to Union Station. The images were released by Akridge in anticipation of their presentation to the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts today.

The redevelopment of roughly 15 acres plans for 3 million square feet across 12 buildings above the stations current railyard.

The project anticipates over 1,300 units, office space, retail and hotel.

Plans show public plazas with open and green space, with a central space with tiered lawns and water features will divide the new development.

The project has been more than 20 years in the making for Akridge, who first won the air rights to the railyard in 2002.
