New Renderings Revealed for "The Suffolk"
New renderings have been unveiled for the interiors and amenities, set for a 30-story mixed-use development, going up at 55 Suffolk Street on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
Developed by , and known as "The Suffolk", the building will contain luxury residential units (25% affordable), along with a 39,000 square foot office headquarters for the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC). Plans also call for square feet of retail space, located on the ground floor.
The residences will be offered in micro, studio, and one to three-bedroom configurations, with high-quality interiors, envisioned by JG Neukomm Architecture.
Tenant amenities are to include a state-of-the-art fitness club with a yoga studio, resident and co-working lounges, a game room, a package room, an exclusive mobile app for tenants, and of course the crown jewel... a rooftop pool complete with a sundeck, BBQ stations, firepits, and private dining areas.
Designed by , The Suffolk stands feet tall and totals square feet. This project is one of two buildings going up as part of the CPC's Broom Street Development Plan; the other being 64 Norfolk Street. General contractor, Monadnock Construction Inc, is overseeing the $235 million build, and work is scheduled to wrap up in the coming months.
