New Target Store Included in Fort Lauderdale Shopping Center Redevelopment
Developers Kimco Realty have submitted a site plan to redevelop Cypress Creek Station in Fort Lauderdale. The plans include a new Target store. The 121,633-square foot store will replace the former Office Depot building and the existing Regal Cinema, and Sola Salons buildings. The redevelopment, which involves the demolition of the 2,800-seat movie theater and shopping center reconfiguration, will increase the retail area from 176,098 square feet to 264,788 square feet. The Fort Lauderdale Development Review Committee (DRC) and Planning and Zoning Board will review the plans at a meeting December 10, 2024.
