NIH Breaks Ground on SRLM Building 

The National Institutes of Health has celebrated the groundbreaking for the new Surgery, Radiology, and Laboratory Medicine (SRLM) Wing at the Bethesda campus. The new nine-story, roughly 550,000-square-foot addition will include space for General Radiology and Imaging Services, the Department of Perioperative Medicine, the Department of Laboratory Medicine, National Cancer Institute labs, and other medical departments. The ambitious project will also renovate 82,150 square feet of the existing CC. The nine-story addition is scheduled for completion in 2029.
