NoMa Development Site Acquired after Foreclosure: Time Extension Filed
A Virginia-based developer has acquired the development site at 1109 Congress Street, N.E after the property went into foreclosure after the previous owner could not secure financing due to the pandemic. The new owner of the property has now filed documents requesting a 2-year extension of the PUD to secure new financing and negotiate new construction contracts. A 9-story, 64 unit project is approved for the site.
