Novavax Gaithersburg Expansion Wins Approval
Expansion plans for the Novavax Gaithersburg campus won approval at a recent Gaithersburg Mayor & City Council meeting. The company currently occupies over 122,000 square feet of space at 700 Quince Orchard. Block 2 within the site would add 600,000 square feet of office, research and development space, and integrated light manufacturing space throughout multiple buildings. Block 3 of the project calls for the conversion of 2 existing buildings to include R&D/light manufacturing space. Plans also call for a parking garage and open, green space.
