NPC Filed for Brighton Multifamily
The development team behind the approved project at 40 Mount Hood Road in Brighton has filed a Notice of Project Change to adjust the units within the development from condos to rentals. The project will feature a total of 151 units and was originally approved in August 2018. According to the filing, "the change is necessitated by market realities, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic." The letter goes on to state that. "potential investors in and lenders to residential projects are unwilling to participate in condominium projects. The need for new housing in Boston remains strong, however, and the Proponent has been able to garner interest from investors in rental housing."
