Orange County Planning Mixed-Use Development Near Epic Universe with Over 2,000 Multifamily Units
The Orange County Planning Department has unveiled plans for a high-density mixed-use development. The project will be developed on properties owned by Orange County near the upcoming theme park Epic Universe and the Orange County Convention Center and would offer 2,678 multifamily units along with 54,000 square feet of commercial space. A 29-acre property at 10191 International Drive would offer 1,670 residential units, the commercial space and 1,008 residential units would be located on a 14.4-acre site at 5890 Destination Parkway. The property on Destination Parkway is next to a future SunRail station, the International Drive property is south of the Beachline Expressway, the properties would be connected by a pedestrian bridge over the expressway.
