Permits Filed for 11-Story Affordable Housing Project in Norwood
Building permits have just been filed for an 11-story, mixed-use development, at 3041 Webster Avenue in the Norwood neighborhood of the Bronx. Developed by Atlantic Development Group, the building will contain 136 apartments, all of which are likely to be dedicated to affordable housing. Plans also call for a cellar level, and 39,950 square feet of community facility space.
Designed by GF55 Architects, the structure will stand 114 feet tall and total 96,758 square feet. An existing 2-story commercial building will have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
