Permits Filed for 5-Story Self-Storage Facility in Gowanus

Building permits have just been filed for a 5-story, self-storage facility, at 88 9th Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Developed by , the building would contain 90,303 square feet of storage space and feature 4-loading berths, as well as 16 outdoor parking spaces.

Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet. The property is a bit of an oddball as it sits directly beneath the NYC Subway's Culver Line Viaduct.

The two buildings that make up the current storage facility would have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
