Permits Filed for 6-Story Affordable Housing Project in East New York
Building permits have just been filed for a 6-story, mixed-use development, at 365 Shepherd Avenue in Brooklyn's East New York neighborhood.
Developed by HousingPlus and Spatial Equity Co., the building will contain rental apartments, with 100% of the units to be dedicated to affordable housing. Plans also call for a cellar level, and 4,936 square feet of community facility space.
Designed by , the structure is set to stand feet tall and will total square feet altogether. A few low-rise industrial buildings will have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
