Permits Filed for 6-Story Transitional Housing Project in Brooklyn
Building permits have just been filed for a 6-story, transitional housing development, at 510 Gates Avenue in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Developed by , the building is set to contain 200 beds for formerly homeless adults.
The development will also feature resident lounges on each floor, a rear terrace, a private dining room in the cellar, and several classrooms for vocational training and social services support.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. An existing pair of 3-story, mixed-use buildings, will have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
