Permits Filed for Hells Kitchen Residential Building
Permits have been filed for a story residential building at 415 West 45th Street in Manhattan's Hells Kitchen neighborhood. Developer, , is seeking to convert a 2-story parking garage structure into a housing development. The new building is being designed by, , and would have rental apartment units, totaling square feet. In addition, the converted structure would retain parking spaces for tenants. Also included in the plans are a cellar and a rear yard. 415 West 45th Street will stand feet tall, filling in the height difference made apparent by the substantially taller buildings on either side of the lot. This project comes as part of a trending development wave in Hells Kitchen, where real estate is extremely desirable due to the neighborhood's walkable proximity to Hudson Yards, and the rest of Midtown.
