Permits Filed for Massive Mixed-Use Project in Gowanus
Permits have just been filed for a 20-story, mixed-use development at 175 3rd Street in Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood. Developed by , the building would contain residential condo units and square feet of commercial retail space. Plans also call for an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles, as well as 3 separate loading docks.
Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet. Verizon currently occupies the property, with a single-story operations building. This would have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
