Permits Filed for Senior Housing Project in the Bronx
Building permits have just been filed for a 10-story, senior housing development, at 105 West Tremont Avenue in the Morris Heights neighborhood of the Bronx.
Developed by , along with Crown Holdings, the building will contain Affordable Independent Residences for Seniors (AIRS) units. These will be available in both studio and one-bedroom configurations, and a single unit will be reserved for the superintendent of the facility.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet.
The project site is currently occupied by three vacant, single-family houses. These will have to be demolished before construction can start on the new development.
