Phase 1 of Mildred Hailey Redevelopment Underway
The development behind the Mildred Hailey Redevelopment officially broke ground on the project late last week. This first phase will include the construction of 2 & 6 Lamartine Street. 2 Lamartine Street will offer 100 units, studios to five-bedroom homes while 6 Lamartine will include 123 units, studio to three bedrooms. When complete, the redevelopment will provide a total of approximately 690 apartments, which will include a one-to-one replacement of the existing 253 public housing units and will add new apartments at a range of income tiers, including apartments for low-income and middle-income residents.
