Plan Submitted for 16-Story Apartment Building in Downtown St. Petersburg

A 16-story apartment building would rise along I-375 in the northern section of downtown St. Petersburg under a proposal submitted to the city.  The building would be constructed on a 14,177 square foot vacant lot on 4th Avenue North, between 7th and 8th streets.  The community would feature 135 apartments, with amenities on the 16th floor, and 70 car parking spaces, along with 145 bicycle parking spaces.  The apartments will be micro-units, designed for short-term stays.  A relationship may be established with St. Anthony’s Hospital to utilize the apartments for traveling healthcare professionals.  A construction timeline has not been submitted, the project will go before the City of St. Petersburg Development Review Commission at the September 7, 2022, meeting.
