Planet Fitness Opens Back Bay Location
Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand, will celebrate the recent opening of its eighth Boston location on Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place with local community members and civic leaders.
Planet Fitness will also donate $1,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in celebration of the opening and a BGCB representative will be onsite. The event is open to the community and will also feature tours of the new club and raffle items.
The 15,000 sq. foot location also features state of the art cardio equipment, expansive strength and free weights equipment, dedicated stretching and abs area, free WiFi, upscale tile and granite locker rooms, and more. The Back Bay Planet Fitness is open and staffed 24 hours a day from Monday at 12 a.m. through 10 p.m. on Friday, and then 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
