Plans have been updated and approved for the conversion of the four townhome units into a 20 units residential, featuring 20 one bedroom, and 4 three bedroom penthouse units spread across 2 stories.
Plans seemed to have consolidated the units on the upper floors, rather than run the width of the building.
Plans also show a modernized rear facade, as well as a grey, traditional-modern front facade.
The board decision was passed down, reading:
"The HPO recommends that the Review Boardfind theconcept for a three-story rear addition, penthouse addition, and terrace reconstruction at1329-1335 11thStreet NWbe compatible with the character of the Shaw Historic Districton the condition that the penthouse not be visible from the 11thStreet right-of-way,and delegate final approval to Staff."
