Plans Expanded for Riverhouse in Arlington
Plans have been updated for the Riverhouse Development in Arlington.
Three years ago, JBG Smith filed plans to add roughly 1,000 units to a 36-acre site to be called Riverhouse.
New plans reveal that JBG SMITH has increased the scale of the project dramatically, adding nearly 700 residences to the RiverHouse community, which is already home to 1,700 units.
New plans call for five new buildings and 265 townhomes, including:
-A seven-story, 551-unit building with ground-floor retail.
-A seven-story, 401-unit building with ground-floor retail.
-A seven-story 164-unit condo building.
-An eight-story 185-unit senior housing development with independent, assisted, and memory care living facilities.
-A seven-story 102-unit multi-family building.
The development includes new public parks, green spaces, walking trails, a cycle path, and wooded areas to be part of the "green ribbon" envisioned by the Pentagon City Sector Plan.
