Plans for Residential Tower in Miami’s Edgewater Neighborhood Rejected

The revised plans for a residential tower in Miami’s Edgewater Neighborhood were voted down by Miami’s Urban Development Review Board. The board’s decision is not the final say, it is a recommendation to the city’s planning director who will have the final determination. Developers Hazelton Capital and SB Development submitted plans for the tower in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami in October 2023 but withdrew before a decision was made.  Under the revised plans, the tower located at 419 Northeast 19th Street in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood will offer 463 residential units, ranging from 403 to 2,223 square feet, and 44 parking spaces. Amenities located on the 9th, 10th floors, and the rooftop will include a pool, sky lounge, private dining area, and prep kitchen. The developers have not indicated whether or not they will move forward with revised plans or different plans on the site.
