Plans Revealed for New After School Matters Location
After School Matters has revealed its plans for an adaptive reuse of a 2-story former school building for its new location on the Near North Side. Once completed, the 36,000 square foot building will offer job training to at-risk teens at its new facility that will feature a black-box theater, gymnasium, wood shop, STEM labs, an industrial kitchen, art studio and outdoor gardening.
