Plans Under Review for Corner Lot, Mixed-Use Building on Rhode Island Ave. NE

Plans are under review for an 8-unit multifamily to be built over retail.

The floor plans show the roughly 4,000 sq. ft. retail space broken into defined areas for a small grocer, two restaurant spaces, dining areas, and a back-area support area.

 

The 2 stories above will each contain 2 two-bedroom, 1 one-bedroom with den, and 1 one-bedroom unit.

There will be an electrical and sprinkler room on the cellar floor, rooftop access for mechanical equipment, and a generous proportion dedicated to solar panels.

Prior plans showed a restaurant with rooftop bar/dining on the mezzanine, second- and penthouse levels, as well as a grocer, coffee shop or coworking space on the cellar, ground and mezzanine levels.
