Plans unveiled for $3M mixed-use infill project
A pair of local developers released plans for their infill project at 3302-3308 E. Marshall St. Located in the Chimborazo neighborhood, the project will include 2 tourist home units and 11 apartments. Similar to short-term home rentals, tourist homes are defined in the city code as buildings with no more than 10 guestrooms that are rented out on a daily basis. The development will wrap around a pair of existing storefronts at 3304 and 3306 E. Marshall St. and will fill two other lots, which are vacant, and add a building and on-site parking at the rear of the properties. No word on when the project will start yet but stay tuned.
