Player Amenities Nearly Complete at Polar Park
Work continues at Worcester's Polar Field as construction wraps up on the dugouts and bullpens. Framework nears completion on the stadium as the Worcester Red Sox prepare for their first season at the stadium in the spring of 2021.
Part of the larger Canal District Development, the 18-acre project, with the baseball park, includes 250 market-rate apartments, a 150-room hotel and "boutique" hotel of up to 110 rooms overlooking the ballpark, and 65,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.
